Welcome to Triad GLBT Christian! We're here to connect, educate, and empower GLBT Christians in the North Carolina Triad and beyond. Through this blog we will provide resources and create a forum that addresses issues affecting GLBTs who are Christian, ex-Christian, or Christian-curious.
While we both belong to affirming, gay-positive Episcopal Churches in the Triad, far too many GLBT persons have been spiritually abused and abandoned by their faith communities. As a result, some have become cynical about organized religion, some have succumbed to dangerous ex-gay ministries promoted by Exodus International, and some continue to search for a loving Christian community in which to live out their spiritual journey. We hope that this blog speaks to any and all of these individuals, as well as those straight allies who support the full inclusion and acceptance of GLBTs in our Christian churches.
Please bookmark this site and visit often. We welcome your feedback.
May the peace of God that passes all understanding be with you and remain with you always.

Awesome idea! It would be great to get together with other gay and lesbian Christians in the Triad.
Seems like we have a bit in common. My partner and I went from atheist to Buddhist to Quaker. Been a Friend for a number of years now.

I'm looking forward to seeing the film again. It was life-altering, in a very positive way. I'm also looking forward to some opportunities to grow spiritually within a supportive GLBT community. Thanks for starting the blog!
